If theres anybody out there who can help, that would be great - i need a new (second hand) 1 1/2 su set up for a bog standard
998 (1972). I need it by sunday night though so it can be fitted and ready by monday morning.
If theres anybody around the plymouth area who can help me i would be most greatfull

I've got a couple of HS4's knocking about. You after just the carb?
If you're willing to travel to leicestershire then i'm sure I can sort one out lol....

oooh, its a bit further than i was planing on traveling lol
Im after the whole lot realy float bowl, dash pot, the stuff underneith too - just to make sure i do actualy change the nackered bit,
but thanks for the offer

dont know really, i tend to run a HIF44

probarbly £20 for a dirty one and £40 for a clean one lol

Try Paul Inch he builds race engines for minis and might have something kicking about

a 72 mini could be running a hs2 (1 1/4") are you sure its a hs4? you can tell by the air filter box.

it had no air box when i got it, ive had two mini friends tell me its 1 1/2.
is there another way to tell? should be writern on the carb somewere i would have thought

The dashpot is smaller on the HS2.
