Hey just trying to sell my mini and wondered how much you think it would sell for.

Rover Studio 2 in Nordic blue 1 of 1000
998cc running perfectly (new dizzy cap, ht leads etc)
all original.
great condition interior.
new sills
needs new door skins?
very good cond for model!

Ive been told anything from £100-£1700 so not a clue really.

I need a quick sale really so if i put it in the mags it may take a while.

Any ideas appreciated!!

Thanks, Will

I dont think GW means at least £1K. Black0uts mini was seriously tidy, Deepdish alloys, no paint bodges etc.

This was a top looking Studio 2 so without trying to sound nasty, i think the max youd ever get was 1k. Ill find some pics of black0uts to show you what i mean..

http://cgi.ebay.co.u.....AMESE:IT&rd=1 Here, this went for just under £1K!!

It's really about finding the right buyer, but Black0ut had been advertising this for a fair while....

I'm aiming for 1k ish for grotbag, but that will have a completely rebuilt engine and gearbox, rebuilt braking system, rebuilt suspension and subframes, and all the welding done.. but basically completely standard...

Real good car for the first time buyer/driver...

It's really about finding the right buyer, but Black0ut had been advertising this for a fair while....

Several reasons why it did not sell for much :nugget:

It was sold on ebay

Had no rear seats fitted at time of sale

Various dents and scratches

Missmatch piant job

Just because you spent hundreds on it doesn't mean that youll get it all back when you sell it expect at the most to get half what you spent on it on top of the true value of the car and that these days is vastly different to what people realy think. Have a look in the parker guide at the book price for the mini and that is what it should sell for. so if you sell your car for more this then youve done well and the person who bought it is not shy about dipping in his pocket. The prices minis are being sold for realy is stupid.

I wouldnt have paid any more for it my self, I dont think its that tidy, but again that is my opinion.

I bought my 95 M reg with most of these bits fitted for 1600 and that was tidier and 1275 :cheese:
