in the next few weeks i will be breaking a 2000 cooper sport and im looking to sell the engine + subframe complete along with the entire loom ecu etc basicly every thing you would need to bolt the subframe up and have a running mpi. when it comes to value i have no idea what this would be worth to some one, any ideas?

What sort of condition is the engine in? Mileage? Is it a runner at the moment?
I could be interested ... for the right price, of course!
(FYI - The full conversion would also probably need the tank, fuel lines & radiator etc...!

As said, depends on condition and history, if good could be worth up to £750

The going rate is:
MPi engine is £250-£400
Subframe with hubs/shafts/calipers/etc... about £40-£90
A complete unmolested loom is £40-£80
MPi Fuel tank with pump and sender £35-85
MPi Radiator with hoses £50
This is roughly the going from on ebay and the forum, so pick a price depending on the condition.

I just bought a 1998 Cooper Sport engine/gearbox/front subby/complete front brake setup/driveshafts/suspension arms for 400 quid. The engine has 45,000mi on it.

as said it will be every thing so would include fuel tank + fuel lines engine has done 86k but is running perfectly along with the gear box

yes it will be posible to take a video etc. its currently my daily drive. i had the whole mini up for sale but had no real intrest so now im looking to break it as i need the room and money
