Official latest news from the organisers:As any of you that have the seen the club forum will know we have officially sold all the tickets for the London to Brighton run. However if you are still waiting for yours you may still receive it as the final few application are being processed. For any of you that receive the apology letter or have not applied for a ticket but have now decided to take part there are a number of options which are open to you.
1. You could enter into a competition which MiniWorld are doing in their June issue which comes out on the 7th April. For this all you have to do is answer a simple question. They have 5 tickets to give away
2. To become a Marshall, for this you need to send your name and address and telephone number or email to
[email protected] and state what day either the Saturday or Sunday and in the case of Sunday at which end you wish to work. The time will be divided into session, The type of work could be parking cars to giving out t-shirts. For this you will receive a run pack and a place on Madeira Drive.
3. Join the many unofficial runners and park on the road at Crystal Palace or Brighton or both and join in the day. You will still be able to enjoy the free entertainment which is being provided plus on the Sunday see the many traders and enjoy the show and shine.
For those not doing the official run you can still buy flags and t-shirts at Crystal Palace as well as Run Packs and Plaques at Brighton on Madeira Drive.
25th Anniversary CoinThis year we have something very special as it is our 25th Anniversary of doing the run we are giving each person with a ticket a limited edition coin, it is double sided, 50mm in size and has been enamel painted and will only be available on the day. I am sure it will become a collector’s item in the future. I am also pleased to announce that we will have an exclusive gold plated coin that can only be bid for in the charity auction.
