Anyone know of the brown (I think it was) Clubman who had their run plaque placed over their N/S headlamp? It was throwing out oil by the bucket loads on the way down to Brighton...?

I just got up after sleeping for 15 hours, because i couldn't get to sleep the night before the run, with all the noise in the camp!

Finally managed to get into my tent about midnight... only to be kept awake until about one with people running around screaming and horns going off. Up again at 3.15AM (I swear its getting earlier and earlier every year?!)

that clubman would be mine

blew up the engine day before was set to leave for london

so a speedy build meant couldnt get all the water/antifreeze from inside the oil ways and engine so when was flat out was burning it all off...


i was told to pull over but it cleared up after a while pulling over wouldn't have helped...

but i made it there and home again


so just like to say sorry to anyone who got there cars smoked out because being in the cloud meant i got allot of it and it tasted foul!

yeah we wasn't none too impressed with you cutting infront of us and then booting your car so it chucked out a hell of alot of crap, we couldn't see a thing, thought it quite dangerous and stupid to be honest!

Mind you one of the people you were with had a mini that was blowing out a s**t load of crap out of it. He was in-front of me coming out L2B and cover the whole front of my car in black stuff.

what car was that? was it silver with a roof rack, or red with 2 white viper stripes over it? they were the only 2 other people we were with.

yeah she is in our mini club...her name is fi her mini is LUSH why do you ask? she isn't on here though

It might have been a red one, I'm afraid I don't actually know who he is (thats if we're talking about the same person here) as he tagged along with us as his sat nav went nuts. I did notice he had a few puffs of blue smoke along the way but nothing serious I don't think

Yea it was red. I wasn't really bothered to be honest. THe front of my cars painted with rattle cans so it hardly made it look worse lol. I just had loads of people pointing at it on the way down.

There are no pictures of my car bad times man!! Mind you i was parked right at the other end at brighton, soo gay! The only way you guys would be able to recognize my mini is by the stickers on the back, other than that it doesnt really stand out
