I think i'll go next year, if studying doesn't get in the way. It'll be my second time so i'll know how little sleep to expect! But i may be a bit sneaky and park in the lower carpark, and forget the run pack, so that i don't have to be up by 05:00 to queue and move my car

Well IF they can prove that they are going to be better organised at CP next year then I will consider it still 650 mile round trip isnt cheap either

they are compomotive MO wheels, they are proper motorsport wheels, but
if im right the smallest size you can get them in is 14", their not cheap either

I won't.

600 miles is just to far for me from PLymouth, especially lugging all the camping gear and tools.

On top of that I've had enough of the queues and the disorganisation and of more queues. There's a few small things that could have been changed years ago and haven't which is annonying. It's a shame really because I've been going for 8 years now but no more.

It's all very well saying it's a volunteer event, it is, but we all pay £30 quid to go and with 2100 of us that's nearly £70 grand they get.

I will try to concours it next year providing Jane is Shiny and camp in the bottom car park and move up when I need to - to join the concours queue....

yes, queing is very annoying, the bit that really niggled me, was having to park my mini right down near hastings and having to walk bloody miles to get to the main part on madiera drive, i paid to park on madiera drive, not in hastings!

Hastings, nasty...I was also put out this year when I made an effort to look for the provision of disabled drivers needing to be nearer the action. I have become physically disabled in the last few years and need to be nearer to loos and in the case of B near to exhibits and vendors, I had to bend the arm of a marshal to let me turn right at the bottom of the ramp to let me anywhere near the gymkana area....

We'll do it again next year - although hopefully in my car. It is disorganised and a long journey and harsh not getting much sleep, but who cares, the weekend is still great!
