I wish you well.

But i'll give you my opinion on the "other" site.

It was brilliant 6-7 years ago - especially for car bits.

Now, it is stodged up with piles and piles of utter carp (buy it now etc) that the seller knows won't sell.

For instance, there are more brake pipe kits currently listed on the bay for the Pantera than there are Panteras in the uk?????

Then there's the "Classifieds" bit that forever clogs up your results.

As far as I can see, you are creating a clone, maybe cheaper for the seller, but for buyers no different an experience, with less choice.

My opinion only - you need to do something radically different to what is already out there. Maybe auction ONLY, no buy-it-now, no classifieds, no shops, no multiple items - just to clear the chaff out of the way. Maybe you could specialise in car related stuff only? How about everything starting a £0.01 - the same as a real auction - you can still have a reserve?

You could always add other stuff in later when you get established.

Cheers for the comments, we are trying all areas to start off with. Our main thing to start off with is our local area,
we have a tender section which is different to the other one, may be people on the forum could use it in stead of the other one,

Thanks
Matthew

Just some feedback, is there no option to dislay all? Also on the headers the one's with no options you have to click on and on the one's with options you have to hover over, small things but a bit annoying.
