well got a quote with ALL mods declared like all the suspencion the new engine the sccr box soon to be in it, wheels, exhaust absolutly evrything...

about £900 quid fully comp and thats without the TMF discount with adrian flux... im only 19 so well chuffed.

now just to get the last 200 quid and buy my gearbox :D CANT WAIT! i miss driving the little 1

I got a quote for a ford capri for £600 as a 17 year old

How? I'm trying to get a quote for an 850cc mini and they either won't touch me or want about 3 grand....

yeah £900 fully comp is good tho, I pay £1200 third party, I've just turned 18

dunno I just got a lucky quote, but I didn't get a capri in the end as apparntly they drink fuel. On moneysupermarket.com it was...

it was around 1200 on it last year no mods declared but that was on my other policy which im using for my daily focus with admiral at the moment. however they wont touch my mini with the mods declaired.

but flux said when that 1 runs out i can change my mini's policy into a multicar and run both off it for not much more so itl all work out fandabedosy.

got a quote on my mini (still in pieces) with all intended mods,ie wheels cage and engine all that looking at £200 fully comp :) ....im getting old now though 27 this year :D


must admit i got given a 1.8 nissan bluebird :) when i was 20 and just passed my test.it was a tank but imaculate for its age and cost me £1800 tpft :thumbsup: i soon got a company van and ditched the car/insurance

my first mini at 18 was £300, mine now at 19 is £800, thats with all mods declaired including roll cage and 1098cc's

haha, funnily enough I was looking for a Capri before the mini, and decided against it because of the same reason (well... That and the long bonnett).
Screw the adverts for moneysupermarket. I'll try and haggle instead

For a non modified 998cc fully comp it was £1715.

Would i pay that? i think not!
