I have a 1992 spi cooper, today i could not get it to start so i removed the fuel line which goes to the injection unit and switched on the ignition and no fuel was pumping /comming through.I Checked the fuse and that was ok.After messing around for a hour i put the air filter back on and tried one more time and it started and ran ok for 20 minutes.I was looking under the bonnet and wiggled the wires at the bulk head and it stopped,i removed the fuel line and no fuel again.I have noticed that someone has put in a fues box with eight fuses behind the injection unit should these be there,as i have another 1993 cooper and it does not have this there,it has a large fues box on the left hand side of the engine bay i have a box with six fuses there,it seems to me someone has messed about with it.Can someone tell me if fuel should pump out when ignition is switched on,if so can i rewire the fuel pump and what colours are the wires. Thanks
