A QUESTION FOR YOU TMF GURUS;-
WHATS THE BEST CAM DRIVE? BELT DRIVE WHICH IS WHAT I HAVE OR DUPLEX GEARS AND CHAIN, THIS IS FOR A 1275 ENGINE WHICH WILL BE MILDLY TUNED ONCE I'VE BUILT IT.
I REALLY CAN'T DECIDE WHETHER TO STICK WITH THE VERNIER BELT DRIVE THAT CAME WITH THE ENGINE OR GO WITH THE CHAIN DRIVE WHICH IS WHAT I HAVE ALWAYS USED IN THE PAST.
CHEERS.

Personal opinion, neither...
Not sure if these are made any more but the Kent High velocity chain (or Silent chain) is what I have on mine...
but if they are NLA, then it's horses for courses... they both do the same job at the end of the day.
