Although I will be using classic car insurance, as an exercise, last night I went on to confused.com to see what main stream insurance companies were quoting for my Mini. The prices were a bit higher than I expected especially when I scrolled down to the last quote...just a little out of my price range - lol :D

why should you 'give them abuse'

They obviously don't specialise in whatever you are so consider you a (MASSIVE) risk!!.

And confused.com just coagulate all the quotes they get and thats thus what they gave you..

I am 40, been driving for over 20 years and have advanced driver qualifications, not to much of a risk to insurance companies although we all make mistakes and we're not perfect...but this is obviously a glitch in their system...I just thought it was so funny... :D

Just that they'll do some specialist insurance.. apparently (just googled them..) they insure over 40s :) so you're just not old enough
