Thought I had better introduce myself, as I have found my way onto this forum.
Am based in East Yorkshire and have a 99 John Cooper LE. (Brooklands Green). Not my everyday mode of transport, but my pride and joy. Bought it in 2001 and have managed 1500 miles since. A little bit of a garage queen, I'm afraid!
Just been to Holland and back and it ran beautifully all the way. Put 140 miles on it though!
It's my second Mini, having had a 94 Cooper for 4 years when I was a student. One of the best cars I ever had!
Anyway........

Howdy!
I thought you had flown half the way in your mini to get to Holland in 140 miles, but then realised you didn't go via Dover!!

I live near Hull, so I got the Ferry to Rotterdam! Didn't do much driving, but the car still gets some admiring glances, even out there!Howdy!
