I was thinking of fitting the clocks over the weekend and i dont realy know how to connect the tacho. i dont know were to conect the cable under the bonnet. also will just any tacho cable do or do i need to get one specificly for the mini.

Wires will be sitting at the back of the clocks for the rev counter on a 92 (think it was around 86 they started placing them behind on all models), they might be taped up or just hanging there.
You will need the bracket for the 3 clock cluster (unless you have a dashboard) and then it will bolt to the baulkhead as per the 2 clocks.
