Wonder if you could help!
Theses are the wheels I would like to fit to my 91 cooper, would they fit?
Still want to retain The little plastic arches, would this work?
I apologise for hijacking this thread.
Regards
John

Yes if you get a brake disk conversion so you can use 10" wheels.

The wheels we are talking about here will fit over 8.4" discs no problem. I think you are talking about the steel version that don't have such a big offset. Especially if you are thinking about fitting them with no arches....!!!

Yea although as far as I know you can still use these with no arches if you but the brake conversion on your car. Or am I wrong?
Heres the look I'm going for.
They are reverse rims...
and technically speaking by the letter of the law, need arches...

10" wheels which fit under the body arch... when fitted with 7.5 ( and maybe 7.9 ) inch disks.

It's not unusual for a magazine to get something wrong... and they probably just wrote what the owner told them, and they didn't know that they are reverse rims either...

Cheers for this mate. I have drums at the moment but will be changing to discs as well as fitting a 7.5 4pot conversion. I'll get the OEW wheel from mini sport.
Thanks again.
