I Hate Insurance Companies

Everytime I deal with an insurance company I am left wanting to babg my head against a wall and or throttling the person I am talking to.
I told Admiral last week, dont AUTO renew.
I said:
"I am shopping around, if I wish to renew I will contact you. But do not auto renew." the reply was "ok Mr Woodliffe I look forward to talking to you next week." I just called to atempt to gain more discount and I was told "I have gone ahead and already renewed your policy for you as I noticed from your records that your old policy expired on Thursday"
what the hell?!
So If I had gone with another company and not contacted them they would still have taken the money and more than likely I would have been charged by the bank because there was insuficiant funds! Then I bet the insurance would have added at least 25quid to send me a letter about an outstanding balance!
So, I hate insurance companies. They are the worst people I ever have the misfortune to HAVE to deal with. SCUM.

On the plus side, whilst I'm now restoring the 850 I've been looking at what cat will be cheapest to insure. It's a mini 1000. So, more power and it's a mini

insurance companies are still thieves.
Did you know that you don't have to pay car insurance.................................if you have 5 million in the bank

However, having told them not to auto renew, i dont know why they would have, except them just not listening.
When i insured the mini, in order to tax it the same day i asked if admiral could send me through a fax copy of a temporary insurance certificate. They said no problem and asked for the fax machine number - the number is different from my home phone number. Then, for some reason they try to send the fax to my phone line number. I call and even appologise for the inconvenience im causing them, and politely ask them again to send it to my fax number, NOT the house phone number. Yet, again they try and send it to my home phone number. This process was repeated 6 times untill i eventually just gave up. Each time i phoned the guy on the other end just appologised for the mistake and said he would make sure and send it to the fax machine next time.
Bit useless to be honest.

I know it is, and I even told them the year before not to auto renew when the year was up. I told them I will contact them if I wish to cont with them.Auto renewal is part of the admiral contract/agreement that you will have agreed to the year before.
Not listening? being a bunch of f'ing theives more like. However, having told them not to auto renew, i dont know why they would have, except them just not listening.

Especially hate insurance companies as I am a 17 year old who's just passed his test. So, they automatically presume Ill be racing around with my cap on back to front and beating up old people in my spare time. I apprciate that they have to cover themselves, but the reason insurance prices are so high is because those people described cause the accidents and are not insured. So whoever is on the recieving end end up having to pay up. So now I am getting stupidly high quotes for my 850 mini, with a 0-60 time of 2.5 (that's hours - not seconds).

Ok so I just about had enough to cover it and I got it all back, well the amount that shouldn’t of been taken, but that’s not the point.
