So gutted i couldnt make it :D

That section full of vans toooo... I'm actually sad

And the very van that 1st made me want a minivan was back inside!
1st time i saw it was about 4-5 years back at Bingley (my 1st mini show) and ive been in love with it ever since.
So glad to see its still about, just as stunning as ever ;)

Not a bad day. Wondered up to the TMF stand (Took me a while to realise there was stands upstairs lol) but once upstairs I didn't speak to anyone as A) Don't know what you all look like and B) Shyness came all over me.

Bought lots of bits. Got ripped off a tenner though thanks to me not paying attention when getting change from a £20 note. Got me a rear hinge panel so hopefully my rear end will be sorted soon. Got clear front indicators, badges and stickers.

Made the 100 mile round trip no problem, but when I got back to Redditch the mini decides to break. Not sure what's happened but it feels like the wheel is about to fall off and it's making grinding sounds!! I presume it's either track rod ends, brakes or something to do with steering??

Did anyone spot my bootless rat mini?

What a great show that was, enjoyed meeting all my old mates(and some new ones as well!!)

Spent all day wandering around and chatting, didn't buy a thing!!

What a shame! I wanted to say hello to you!

nice to see the boyfriends Mystery Machine appearing in piccies :D I loved polishing it with friends this morning!

The poor mini I took (Charlie) was parked in the mini only parking (we were the first in the mini only parking and virtually the last to leave) he was the little white one with all the flowers, peace and love signs on him.

Great to see a few people and had a good wander but only purchased my L2B promo t-shirt, a round of coffees for my LSMOC friends and 10 raffle tickets!

x

Oh i should have known it had something to do with you :xxx: We saw it at L2b last year with a great big scooby doo hanging out of the window!. In fact, i got a video!

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.c...></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.c...hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Do I have that sort of reputation?!!? ;)

It's a great van, the speaker boards in the back still need painting though, think that's a task for this year!

I rescued scooby doo a couple of times at the show as his head kept getting shoved back in the window, don't think it's complete without it!

I thought it was a good show, got lots of shinies for the new project, including:

- 10x5 minilites, black with polished rim
- Yoko A008 tyres
- Group 2 Narrows
- Mk3 Grille + Surround
- Cooper S brake conversion kit
- Some bits of trim.

Spent too much but had a good time!

I enjoyed the show, I thought it was quite a bit different to Uttoxeter (which was my first show).

I managed to meet the lovely Bec and I bumped in to SFM outside.

Unfortunatly, my Mums MPi Talula, didn't like my comment of "That'll be the last show I go to in this Mini, it should be Elliot next time" and to punish me for my unwelcome comment promptly decided to make her driver side wheel bearing seize while I was doing 70 in the middle lane of the motorway ;). It's a good job I had two hands on the wheel and wasn't half asleep, else I might not have been typing this.

Got it on the hard shoulder and eventually got recovered to the local Mini Specialist.

Still, I'm not going to let that ruin my day :D. I've got a load of pictures, I'll upload them later.
