Ive got a Mini scalextric set, with lots of extra track, pit stops, chicanes and about 20-odd Minis but no room to have it set up permanently

Im a fan of scalextric, about 12 years ago i kitted out my loft spending about £300 on loft then a further £250 on scalextric.

Played on it with mates, all boxed up now tho, got about 50m of track n lots of cars, might sell on bidfolk.co.uk .

scalextric is great to get back out at christmas. get some mates round, (the girlies can chat about clothes in another room! ... ooh sexist!) get some drinks and crisps and start racing.
as the drink flows, folk get more and more competitive...

Got a big Digital Scalextric set up for christmas
Its been set up in my living room ever since (obvously i am single lol)
Trouble is i have not hovered up since and its getting ready
Looks like its going to be moved & perminantly set up in the big empty spare bedroom
I am on the look out for more of the digital minis as 2 is not enough when my mini mates come round

I don't know . . . . . . . Boys and their toys ;)

But joking apart, when we get our loft converted (which has been part of our 25 year plan and it's still not sorted lol) there'll be a huge scalextric track up there along with an 'N' gauge railway - woop woop. I got the 'Mini 50 years' Morris Mini for Christmas and can't wait to try it out along with the 'Italian Job' Minis Stephen got last year :)

Rach :(

PS We had a Scalextric night on one of our Mini club nights and I won - much to all the 'boys' annoyance lol So I'm as bad as you lot lol
