Check fuel lines and filters for blockages, maybe a bad fuel pump?
I had similar issue and it was my fuel filter jammed up with rust from the tank letting hardly any fuel to the carb!!

Deffo not the coil. Will look at the fuel pump. Fuel is getting to the carb though. Once the fuel line is off the carb the fuel pumps out.
