just realised how simular the damage was to my car. imagine this upside down and there you go! the crushing on my car stops where the roll cage starts!

items for your must have list on your next mini.

FIA aprroved roll cage
FIA approved buckets seats
4 point harnesses

and if you are anything like me a light weight accelerator foot!

ive got a 6 point cage and harnesses, and as tom said, they really arent needed in an everyday car, changes the cars characteristics incredibly though

just imagine that pic with a full cage instead of half cage, it wouldnt look much different to a normal shell....

i get what ur sayin minis84,but havin the roof collapsin gives ur more of a chance of crushin ur, an dunt it save ur with a head on colition if u get a 5 point role cage that goes under the doors ect, the engine doesnt come into ur legs well in theory that iz, i race mine round country bends an lookin at how deep the ditches r i fink ide hav a role cage even tho of what u sed bout the rollin witch i agree 100%,i dunt mean 2 argue lol im prob talkin a load of C**p lol :tongue:

im glad ive got my 6 point SD cage with door bars waiting to be installed. but thats going to be a track car with buckets and chunky 4 point harnesses.

im glad ive got my 6 point SD cage with door bars waiting to be installed. but thats going to be a track car with buckets and chunky 4 point harnesses.

Similar spec to mine, except I've got no door bars....yet!

And as madmax says, the cage alters the handling amazingly, the whole shell gets stiffer, as a result mine will *male chicken* the rear wheel up on sharp cornering now (apparently!)

dunt worry bout what i sed, the bit that didnt make any sence what so eva :) lol i didnt fink about what i wrote prop lol :wink: , i was gunna delete it but can only replace it so ohwell, if it bugs ur jus tell me an i replace it wiv summit. forgive me 4 confusin ur all :tongue:
