This is for my neighbour, he has a 1275 SPi engine which was fully rebuilt last year with new bearings throughout, new oil pump, camshaft etc and the box was reconditioned. He ran out of money so didn't do any work on the head so he said it has a bit of smoke on startup but then it stops. Cost him £900 for the work.
Still in car so can be heard running.
How much would it be worth?
Cheers

It's a shame he couldn't do the head!
Due to that, I'd put it mid way in the pricing range - about £400ish - could be wrong.

Maybe a little bit more than the £400, an "ordinary " 1275 is £300 on fleabay.
If he's got reciepts for all the work and the engines nicely painted then £500-£550ish
