Problem - Fuel gauge never reads more than half/three quarters full
Fill up the tank - never reads full. Quickly hits empty, go to refuel, can't get much fuel in as tank is still half full. Guessing it might be the sender and/or float causing the problem, replaced this. Problem still exists. Shorted together wires at sender - gauge hits full. So gauge itself is capable of reaching this far, but not when being told to do so by the sender.
Any suggestions anyone? Have read about bending float arm but know this won't really cure the problem.
Thx in anticipation all ....

What I do is neck it (oooerrrr missis)....gauge reads full,
Just out of interest what RON do you use
I use the highest RON, and it seems to me runs a lot better (in my head it does anyhoo)
