Just buying a new 1.6 mini one for 19 year old daughter - what's the mini own insurance like or can anyone give me an idea of who else to try - she has 2 years no claims. Can I get a better deal with the mini own insurnace going throught the dealership please?

insurance varies so much the only thing you can do is ring around as much as possible

most of the insurance topics on this forum will be for classic insurance something you won't get on a BMW mini

Try asking on TotalMini.com in the Insurance section for help or enter details into something like Confused.com. for lots of quotes in one go.

I'm 17 and i've got one! group 5 insurance for a 'MINI ONE', so fairly cheap and should be well under £1000 with 2 years no claims especially for a girl as their insurance is cheaper than boys.

All i can say is shop round and use the comparison sites.

Good luck

Its just best shopping round as much as you can, direct line, confused, money supermarket, go compare...

I found the best deal with Endsleigh for my VW Lupo, they seem to like young drivers! Although, the price came through best with confused.com
