Need some help, my W reg Cooper has decieded to play up today, I was happily driving through the rain yesterday when i went through a large puddle, after this the mini began coughing and spluttering and there were a few misfires, I got her home and put her straight in the garage to dry it out, while there i checked all wiring and connections, nothing out of the ordinary. So today I get in it and try it, starts fine from cold no problems, then as soon as you rev to 3000RPM she starts struggling, spluttering, misfire a large amount of clear smoke comes out. This happens when cold and when hot as i run it up to temp to check and still the same symptoms.
Theres no erratic idle, no misifire below 3000 and it seems to run fine until you get past 3000 revs, so im a little confussed at the moment, any help or suggestions!!!
The setup is completly standard, no mods.
