Just Looking at the classic speedos like THIS one. and im just wondering wether it hast to be used in a centre clock or could you use it in a 2 clock set up?

Yours is an 82 so should have a centre clock , but I'm awarre people change them because they dont like them

mine came with a dual clock i think.

kk. just thought they looked good but if i cant use it in a 2 clock set up

Not hard to do, theres a kit you buy from minispares to convert it. I'll find it for you

I might go for a 3 clock seems as mine has speedo - and the one with the temp and fuel, and i take it the temp is for engine temp?

This is the centre clock conversion loom, as far as i know all you do is match the wire colours to the ones on your two clocks, i think you need a different speedo cable and different bulbs too. But get someone esle to confirm caus im not 100% sure

Is there not a way of using a drill to turn them back? Or have i been watching to many bad old school movies!

plus is it not illegal to do that anyway, it wont match your v5 or mot certficate anymore so if the police ask for these they might ask some questions, i dont know how it works with a new engine though!

Zero miles will be fine, after all thats the amount frecks gonna travel if you spend your money on tat like this rather that getting him fixed up properly!!

i was going to get the engine rebuilt and didnt really want to start from the mileage thats on there and i currently dont have to V5 im sending off for it in the next day or two

I did say i was just looking but i think im going to use this 2 clock set up i have here and when it comes to it buy the rev counter to make a 3 clock

hi do you have the center speedo hosing and dials ? if so i would like it as i am going to swap
mine to the center one .if i can get on cheap .if you do not have one do not panic
