I got the lars ulrich ones as i was really into metallica at the time (still love them but i listen to other stuff aswell now lol). I've found the sticks are a bit harder to drum with though, compared to some normal zildjan wooden ones. I think the sticks i have though, might be a bit too long for me so i'll have to try some shorter ones annd see if that affects it.

try some wood tip Zildijan 5A sticks (fairly standard AFAIK), I have always used these and never had an issue.

try get a pair of ziljian sticks theyve got rubber handles with a groove where your fingers go ive got a used pair if you want them

Aye, i'll be gettng some zildijan wax sticks when i can afford the time to play again. Really enjoyed playing with them but i kept snapping them (must have been hitting too hard or in the wrong place).

iv always found those a bit weak to but then iv been told i play like animal!!!
