Hi All,

I know these topics are difficult sometimes without seeing whats actually for sale but here goes anyway...

I am in posession of a Cherry Red Mini 30 (1989 G Reg) Its in pretty good condition, interior I would class as nearly mint (Inc otiginal Mini Mats) exterior theres some tiny and I mean tiny rust patches (one under windscreen the other under one headlight) they really are very tiny bubbles..

Genuine mileage of 37,000, owned by my Mum for the last 20 years, she,s the second owner, the other being a lady. Original Factory Sunroof

Its got 4 x brand New Falken Tyres
Ive just renewed both rear brake cylinders and had a complete brake fluid change
Just had a service, plugs, filters etc

It has a slight oil leak, possibly drive shaft oil seal (I may do this before I put her up for sale)

It will have a new MOT and possibly 6 months tax.

As I ahve seen these cars in varying conditions anywhere between 1.5k and 5k... I am not really sure where to pitch it, its obviously an appreciating classic, but I do need to sell it..

I am guessing around the 3k mark????

Opinions please..

Thanks,

Tony.

Interesting car, the factory sunroof is also a rare addition, '30s are my fave special edition and I love em to bits.

Yours looks nice and has an interesting history, if its as good as you say it it then I'd say £2.5 to £3k(on a good day)

If it has manual transmission .... if it is one of the 200 auto's produced you can half that valuation

Not a very helpful post but...

That is a nice looking 30, seems a brighter colour than mine but that could just be because it's cleaner! ^_^

Its a manual...

I think the roof is factory, I know it was there from new but not 100% if it was fitted by the original dealer, suppose its a possibility..

Seems my estimation was about right at 3k (ish)

I have seen ones with slightly more miles for between 3 and 4 on "specialist" classic car sites and plenty on pistonheads etc for 2k...this is why i wasnt sure where to pitch her..

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

£3k is the right money as it is a manual and a rather georgeous example, it seems my initial comment was not appreciated by some, but the fact remains Classic Minis that have automatic transmission are worth considerably less than than there manual counterparts. As a dealer in these cars I feel qualified to comment.

Some of these 30's were fitted with factory sunroofs if I remember correctly, so that does not detract from its value.

Lovely, I would agree with the 3k guestimate, but it could go for slightly more. I had a black 30 with a factory sunroof.
