I have 5 x 10 Minilites with Cooper S brakes which fit rather nicely under Wood and Pickett arches!

We have dunlop d1's 10x5 on disks no arches, but they realy should have them but what you could probably do is get hold of some skiny flares instead, use to be able to get them in the 70's a strip of ali, just to extend out to cover the tread...

I dont think they would be that bad unless the tyres are very fat. 5" wide wheels wont stick out too much if they dont have an offset.

Didnt the standard mk1 minis come without arches, and 4.5" wide rims? Or were they just 4"?

Anyway, It will still MOT without arches, but if you get tugged by the police. you would have to get out and go

"Damn, Some C**T has stole my aches" :cheese:

I have the Minisport 4pots on mine with vented disks - very goo dbrakes but the do increase the track at the front by a considerable ammount!
I've got Group 2 classic arches covering my 10x5 100+ minilites! (see avitar!!)

Looking smart

Its it easy to fit the Grp 2 Classic arches? and do you have to cut any body work?

Love the Picture by the way

If you get 10x5's and don't lower it too much then no body mods will be required, however if you do lower it (like I have) you will need to take a little bit off the front of each arch or the wheels will touch when at full lock/ full bump!

The arches are well easy to fit - put them in place, mark the holes, "carefully" drill them and then fix the arches in place with either rivets or self tapping screws!

the pain is to get the chrome trim to go on and stay on but there is a knack - hot water!!

:cheese:
