Managed to revive outselfs this morning and got the engine out after a struggle, removed the glass too so its a rolling shell now(no breakages!) also i had a good old poke around the shell, found all the rust and lets just say its pretty bad!
We've just got in from removing the rear valence and boot hinge panel. The boot floor will be getting done tomorrow morning sometime before i bugger off home on the train

then this happened



and whilst i was taking the hubs apart as i had no socket big enough for the drive shafts jack was also hard at work



then we had a look round the back and jack was acompanied with a screwdriver





on the upside

unmolested shelf

whats left of the metro


he said he was going to clean it up a lil bit





what we collected in the closing pannel from poking the boot

left jack to it for 5 minz, came back to find this happy chappy making sure he is doing his job


then we chopped the hinge pannel off and snapped the hacsaw blade... twice


how we left it tonight as it was getting dark and really cold
more updates / cockups to come tomorrow

was really windy and welding was hard so we called it a day at that
jack has the pictuers will prob be up tomorrow night

& that was that, welder was playing up but managed to get that welded in, not the prettiest at the mo but arch welds will be ground back and dressed.
