Carb, Gear linkage
Get a lever bar in there and give it a wiggle
I didn't have to do anything with the gear linkage when I changed my steering rack.

Not necesary with a rod change (although may strain the mounting) I needed to remove my Remote changeCarb, Gear linkage
Get a lever bar in there and give it a wiggle
I didn't have to do anything with the gear linkage when I changed my steering rack.

as said, unbolt the front dampers too, and keep an eye on the clutch hose, also the metal brake pipe that runs around the subframe.
if it all looks ok, get a bar in there and lever the from down, watch the paint and your knuckles!
