Im hoping someone can help me identify the pin or what ever this may be. Came out when I did my oil change..... ((photo attached))
I had my gear box replaced about 6,000 miles ago.
Car and gears are working fine which is also why this has me stumped. Any thoughts>?

you can see my oilly finger there to give scale.....Attached File  _DSC0112_1_.jpg   3MB   44 downloads

Is it a solid pin or a roll pin?

There was someone on here a while ago that had a pop rivet come out during his oil change and said it must have dropped in the gearbox when he had it replaced. It's a possibility that's all that's happened here, if there's nothing wrong with the car.
