so basicly this is a topic i'm going to start just to show how my mini has progressed over the last 7 years

to start off this was the £50 banger rust bucket pulled from a farmers hedge, my dad bought me this as a gift for passing my eleven plus

we then begin to strip down the car and access the 20 odd years of rust
alot of the images have been lost to to various computer changes of the past seven years but here is just some of the images of panels that where replaced

so this is the car finished and if only it was as easy as this makes it out but the amount of brake fluid that was wasted trying to get the clutch to work was stupid and the amount of solenoids i go through with them braking due to ice.

Really smart, nice job!!

Although I'm not normally a fan of slamming cars, i reckon you should lower it a bit, looks like a 4X4!! :(

And definitely go for a vTec conversion or something alike, would really finish the car off!

thats the plan although all of the pictures where the car didn't have a number plate was when the engine was out although the back does sit really high still id love something like a honda engine but a may settle for a 1275 as my neighbour is selling one. if i am honest i just bought a stage 1 kit and i am eyeing up electronic ignition and a adjusta ride kit

Ok got myself a stage one kit from minisport

got a couple of things to say about the kit but their not all bad

1.kit arrived really quickly
2.thats it

now for the bad points

1. i got no emails what so ever as to if my order had been processed or sent out
2. minisport has developed instructions that are printed on invisible paper
3. there where a couple of items that they sent that needed bolts and nuts
4. lcb didn't really fit had to file down the holes a little bit
5. the exhaust sits alittle lower than i would have liked

all in all i won't know what it has down performance wish till i get the car re-tuned but i would say this kit isn't for the faint hearted to fit
