Just a quickie today how do I determine what mark (MK) my mini is.
It's an 'F' reg Mini City E (Think its year is 1989)

well taffy can you solve this one for me lol or anyone really i have a 1991 J reg city E which says it could be mark 5 or 6 how do i tell which 1 it is cheers

As your Mini City (Rover dropped the 'E' tag in 1988) isn't a post October 1991 fuel injected Mini Cooper or isn't a post October 1992 Mini fitted with a 1275cc engine (like all post October 1992 Minis), then it's still a MK5.

The 998cc Mini City and 998cc Mini Mayfair were the last MK5 models. The Mayfair got the 1275cc engine and became a MK6, but the City became badged as the Sprite before doing the same.
