hi guys, just wanted to pick your brains on this, my headlights, one is brighter then the other, on the drivers side i have a wagner light that has a bulb fitting now this on full beam produces a good beam, on the other hand my passenger side light, a lucas light which has no main beam bulb or flash bulb (AS ITS BUILT IN) seems to be alot dimmer and weaker and does not produce much light. both sides do not produce a flash at all, the side lights do work on them both. so in summary on main beam i have one light brighter then the other (with the dimmer one not having a bulb you place in) and niether of the headlights flash. any help is appreciated thanks in advance

Are you trying to say you've got a halogen headlamp on one side and a sealed beam type headlamp on the other?

So why not change the sealed beam headlamp to a halogen type. Then you'll have a matching set.

hi ok i have took both the headlights off today, both are sealed headlamps, and i still have the same problem that the passenger side one is brighter then the drivers side, so today i attatched the drivers side light to the passenger side and it was dim, so it must be the wiring that causing it to be considerably dimmer.

Could be an earth problem?

These are the correct wiring colours for the bullet connectors behind the front panel: -

Earth is the Black wires
Sidelights are Red/Red with Green
Headlights are thick Blue with Red
Main Beam thick Blue with White
