I believe the old Works Team used 12" wheels on some occasions? Possibly towards the end?

Anyway it looks great as it is.

Thanks for the comments, i'm quite chuffed with it, i do have plans to put it on 10" wheels, but all depends on when i get some spare cash, as i've spent too much on it as it is, and the mrs will kill me if i spend any more at the moment!! but yes, it'll look great with 10" minilites, these are minilfe 12" wheels, these will one day go up for sale to fund the more retro look! was looking at the minispares 10" wheel conversion kit, so will have to keep topping up that piggybank!!

I've heard the 'Minilife' alloys are closer to the original spec Minilite wheels than the current Minilite offerings.

That's one super mini.

Huey my pickup is going from 13" ultralites with sportspack arches to 10" minilifes with no arches at all. The 4.5" wide minilifes have a greater inner offset so they don't protrude. I'm told they are based on the original Abindgon competition alloys. I don't know much about their history but I presume they had to find something stronger than the production steel wheels, which kept collapsing on the racetrack.
I got the conversion kit from Minisport but I could have got it £25 cheaper from Minispares, d'oh!

I think your mini will look even more super on 10s.
