Hi..Here's a tip for you and all TMFers when replacing head gasket make sure all surfaces are degreased and dry .........
Next dab your index finger with Hylomar and smear between bored......
next get some 5amp fuse wire and cut 3 strips 50mm long and place fuse wire onto Hylomar.....
next place new gasket correcy way up and replace cylinder head and torque down.......
I learnt this trick from an old race engineer and I done many engine builds...since then and have none blow head gaskets..........
give it a try...................

Ive been using that type of gasket on my 998 with ARP kit, I thought the headgasket had gone because of major overheating so took the head off on the weekend and the headgasket was fine but changed it again for a cooper one from Moss again, I was using it for a good 3months trashing it about with high revs and looked fine still when removed, (radiator is blocked so overheating, doh!) Although ive now had the head skimmed 4thou because it was slightly warped.
