So everything is wired back up, but I have one spare last wire I can't seem to find a home for. It's a small spade connector, with red/purple wire, on the same bit of loom at the radiator fan connector and one of the spot light connectors.

Looked right through the wiring diagram and can't find any mention of it.

Any ideas?

Hi Spannerhead,
My Rover circuit diagram shows the olny purple with red wire goes to the bonnet switch, for the alarm. Have you put a wire to this switch? The spade connector looks like a possibility, and the location - will it reach?

That'll be it, I haven't put the switch back yet, hence, not having anywhere to plug it in!
