miglia arches from arc are good and should cover your wheels ok but they are for ten inch wheels and dont have enough of a radius on them, as in they will have a gap at the top of the wheels between arch and tyre but not at the front and back if that makes sense to you

I know exactly what you mean, i did contact them about it and said they would fit, but i dont think they are designed for 13" wheels actually. the photo on the site is of my friend nicks mini, and he runs 10" wheels http://www.the-arc-a...asp?ImageID=38.

You are probably right as they said "Hi Simon, Yes, the arches fit 13" wheels. They will need trimming, depending on the width of your wheels/ride height of your car, but all you need to do is cut the radius of the outer edge to follow the contour of your tyre."
i know they are talking about the edge that meets the bodywork on the car, but if its the same arch shape, im still going to get the problem you mentioned, which is why i asked them, hmm they arent very specific.

Also i found out why delivery takes 3 weeks with them.
Because they do a van trip every 3weeks to do their deliverys with. "to guarantee safe delivery".
Looks like i made a bad choice here. I'm going to buy the other ones from Huddersfield Spares, and get bad feedback on ebay from arc angels.

I would just do what mini13 has suggested. Get yourself a cheap set of standard steelies put on it. To get it through the test then you will have the time you need to find the arches you want and do the job exactly how you want it. :D

the 8's should fit as they usually have more offset than 7x13's

i thought it would be loads easier to stick smaller wheels on,

minis werent exactly designed for 13X8 wheels, if you're bothered about what look you want, then why not just fit standard wheels till you find the right arches

IMO, if it was me i wouldnt be picky at all

Who's being picky lol.
There was an option of two.
I wanted to see if people had used them on their cars.
I've ordered the Huddersfield ones.

point taken, yeah i did the huddersfield ones last night, hopefully they should be pretty good :P
i'll post a picture up in my thread when i get them fitted.
shouldnt need to put the steelies on now. can just keep with these wheels. still got camber bottom arms etc to fit to front, and adjustable brackets for rear to go on. so i should get this sitting quite nicely.
thanks for help all

I'm currently moving from 7x13's to 6x13's as my car is literally undrivable on much more than 10psi boost, even on a straight road.

most 7x13's have an offset of -7mm i am moving to 6x13's with an offset of around +16, this equates to removing a wheel spacer of 23mm. Sportspacks for example run an offset of about +21mm and most 10" rims are in the +30's

added to that 175/50/13's stretched onto a 7" rim make car very twitchy, ironically something like 95's will feel much better.
