I know someone with a straight through centre exit exhaust that's very loud and he passed an mot

You can even use a twin box exhaust. It helped me to keep noise under the 95db limit.

I have a straight through Centre exit RC40 on an LCB, swear its not that loud!I'm quite interested in knowing how load it actually is lol

I replaced the exhaust for a straight through single box RC40 and they passed that.

Not sure what it will do to the emmissions though as it will increase the exhaust back pressure.
