i like minis more than anything but they are unreliable and pretty slow.

compared to some of the cars you can get new nowerdays.:S

Running one as a daily is always an adventure, am i going to get to college/work/mrs`s house? :D

thats another reason to i would like a reliable car wich i wouldnt have to worry about breaking down everytime you go out for a drive. but saying that i no minis can be reliable to if they are looked after properly

Nah that`s just me. I thought it would be a wise idea to run a race engine in a road car. :D

But like you said, just need to be looked after properly.

Don't sell it!

I lost interest in my project loads of times, but it comes back with a vengance!

I can second this!!

I can third that!!!

I lost interest over the winter and didn`t touch it for about 6 months, now I`m working on it pretty much every day and am really enjoying it.

at times i get really peeved with my car, and its a sort of ongoing project, but still trying to keep it on the road, and luckily i dont need to drive to get to work so thats a bonus, and i get really annoyed when i break down, and always find something up with it, and theres always something at the back of my head worried about it breaking down.

but, when everything runs right, the weathers good, and youre out with your mates or local mini club, theres not a feeling like it. its amazing, throwing your car round bends in convoy with other minis, while all these modern cars have to brake forever to get round, slingshotting round islands, the people admiring the car when youre out and about

so i have days where i really feel like getting rid of it, but its down to those few moments, that makes me realise what id be missing out on if i sold it, and how bored id be with a car that i didnt have to do anything to except bolt plastic onto it, with these modern cars.

you may regret keeping it at times, but when youve driven one, youll regret it much more for getting rid of it...

Believe it or not I fell out of love with Vern when I first became a student many moons ago - I even considered selling him as I could see him rusting before my eyes :) Now I adore him even after all those years and would have regretted that decision forever if I had sold him  Think about it alot before you decide.
