Mini Insurance Bloody Hell !

i have just turned 17 and past my driving text i have a mini city e , The cheapest ive been quoated is nearlly £5678 for insurance ? surely that carnt be right
modifications only include alloy wheels , and interior modifications and filter and ive been quoated that ?
can any body help me with this please much aprriciated thanks

That s a bit excesive though! Where do you live?! High crime rate area? Try a quote without any mods what so ever. Out of interest, how much is that?

and its not a high crime rate area round my way i live in a quite area lol i just carnt understand why its so much !!

go compare mine started at over £5000 an i got it down to £1400 fully comp but still trying to get it cheaper (im 17 in 2 weeks)
God dam go compare adverts Everytime i read it the song starts in my head

do Pass Plus, insurers like someone who can prove they drive like a granny!!
Also, Pass Plus is free in some counties - bargain!!

Quinn are packing in sometime soon so wouldn't go near them, try Footman James, everyone speaks great things about them on here, got a quote for myself last week (18yo) and it was £700 approx. with wheels and arches modifications. They halved my current Tesco quota!!

I live in the one of the highest crime postcodes and my insurance when i was 17 was £680.
Try footman james on a classics policy
Its a limited millage on a classic policy though isnt it ?
ive got a feeling im going to need a few miles like lol

Pass Plus is something that you do after you've passed your test which means you can then get a discount from most insurers. Its something like 6 hrs minimum of extra driving, had to do it in Rutland of course because it was FREE!
