Did you do a quote without modifications as well?


nope but the car has got modifications on it and if i do have an accident the insurance wont pay out if i dont decalre them right ?

yep. Just move on, doesn't sound like a very realistic quote at £5000. I find that ringing around is best, work much better than comparison websites plus you can often get extra discounts!! :lol:

yeah, if your keeping the wheels make sure they are declared, i just windered what the difference in price was

Hi everyone

i have just turned 17 and past my driving text i have a mini city e , The cheapest ive been quoated is nearlly £5678 for insurance ? surely that carnt be right

modifications only include alloy wheels , and interior modifications and filter and ive been quoated that ?

can any body help me with this please much aprriciated thanks :lol:

I tried comparison sites for when im 17 and they quoted me £1715 cheapest,

£5678 just isnt right though.

This really should be on the insurance area of the forums. Reading through that probably would of answered most of your questions, interesting about Quinn though.

Also, try Adrian Flux. One advantage of being "age challenged" is I get fully comp on my Cooper for £85 per year!!!!

Im with Footman James, and of all the insurers, i'v always found them to be the best.

Its a classic car policy, and they insured me when i was 17 for £650 odd, although as a young driver, the max. mileage you can do is 6000.

Adiran Flux from what i can remember, they don't insure under25's which is crazy. They're missing out on a shedload of insurance money there in my opinion.
