Nope, wasn't at Malvern mate. I'm one of the lads who you stayed with at IMM last year and had a chat to you at bingley the other month.

I put mine in a vice and took a copper/hide hammer to it whilst applying force in the general bend direction.
I then cut it down and fitted an aftermarket pistion top gear stick.

Cost me £60 for the whole dash to be coated in a black suede like flock, done by suffolk flocking services
Decent bloke and very happy to help. Mention my mini KA dash he did and I know he will do you a good deal.
Mine was a little cheaper as I collected it but he can arrange to deliver them back to you one done.

garrett3 how long did this take and if you dont mind me asking what was the total cost thanks danny
Took me 2 days to get the dash done, A day to make the KA dials take mini clocks and then wire it all up etc and then the flocking place had the dash for a week.
I cut mine different from others as I wanted to keep both vents and a normal dash look. This also helped me save time as there was less filler work etc (in fact none at all on mine due to having it flocked)
The glove box lid was fitted from the underside and melted into place using a soldering iron (cheap stylee plastic welding)
Nothing hard about these dashes really but the finished result looks fairly good. Flocking hides a mulitude of sins mate

Feel free to use my pictures as a guide to cutting etc.
They show you the easiest way to do it and it leaves you with very little repair/finishing work once its together. Just one join line
