I think you might have used a bit too much polish, it looks like the paint and bonnet are getting a bit thin

Painted the inside and bottom. Got paint everywhere (literally) but well chuffed with progress :)

Went for a drive around some narrow country roads. Best place for a mini, flying round the bends.. Yess! :)

sorted exhaust out, adjusted rear brakes. put standard air filter back on.fitted new diamond sub on parcel shelf. washed & polished. went for a drive to find some petrol

Fitted new rear dampers and gave it a tune and a drive in the sunshine, god I love driving mini's shame that they are awkward to work on, gotta bend myself in half to get to rear damper mounts!

I changed the oil and filter, I also replaced the shift rod bushing/seal, what a pain.
I ajusted the valves, tightened the exhaust/intake manifold nuts/bolts again, seems like they are always loose.
I also re-did the throddle cable, what a joke that was, should have taken a photo of that, you would have laughed.
Took it for a drive.
