Washed and polished Paddy then reset his plug gaps and tweaked the idle a tad.

Picked it up from Peter Baldwin, found out its got 93bhp, fitted the choke cable, fitted the new tyres to the wheels, fitted the wheels, filled up the washers. Fell in love again. :wub:

Well yesterday I decided to see what I could get on with before it was moved!! How that was a bad idea! Took me 20 minutes to get all my tools out, then bam started to poor it down so had to rush real quick to put them all back -.- and get inside finally packed up sat down upstairs and the rain stopped but was still to wet to work on the car! I'm sure the weather hates me workin on the mini -.-

Yep, that sounds like mini.

I took all the bits of my own engine to the engine-shop yesterday and handed it all over for the short engine build. I'll be very excited to get that back.
Today I set up on the drive and started repairing the wife's car's wiring with brand new soldering iron (old 25w one took the michael). Pleased with all the cable I've replaced, but sadly it hasn't solved our problems. Starter motor must be kaput as trying to start the engine just melted the ignition lead :( sad times. Next step - get starter to local auto-electricians for a check up.

Had a new plate welded in behind the shock mount and a new shock mount :) and took seats out ready for a sound system and found another rust hole :/
