Put the front carpet back in...

Replaced the gear stick gaiter...

Replaced the gear knob...

Re-fitted the the radiator drain...

Re-fitted the horn...

Replaced the first exhaust clamp (destroyed by a rock when crossing a field)...

Replaced the bolt that holds the exhaust to the gearbox (AWOL)...

Adjusted the RHS Hi-Lo (which was too Lo and is now too Hi)...

All ready for the new heater matrix (hopefully in the post tomorrow)...

First I did this.

Then I did this. Not a great picture. Still needs a few finishing touches as you can probably see. The rev counter is an old positive earth RVI type, which looked like it had been played with at one point. So I wired it up and was surprised to find that it worked with my electronic ignition. Empty hole will soon be filled with funky looking positive earth clock.

Tucked her in the garage, removed the roof trim, opened rear windows and removed the seals. Washed off the gunk that had collected in the gaps :(

Tested the coils resistance, tested the PTC heater for power and then tested it's resistance. It helps to have long arms and big hands! And be able to do two things at once with one hand :P

Well this was last week now but I replaced my flattened grille that fell off on the way to work with a shiny alloy grille from Minispeed.

SHINY!  :D
