Me and george want a car each in on september run, but won't be able to confirm (PAY) til after MAY / JUNE. If there are no spots left, we'll just book next to you lot, so we'll be coming whatever on retro 2010.
George wants to confirm that his mk2 golf is retro? Me thinks it is.

I also couldn't wait until september to return, so I've been out there already this year for the Easter weekend,
drove out there on the Friday morning, spent 3 full days at the track, then headed home on Monday!
absolutely awesome weekend, went in the audi with a group of 8 other VAG cars.
Was wet all weekend though, with LOADS of oil spills, so only mananged a 10:03 in the rain, with one single file stoppage for an accident
Have fun!

What was it like around the car parks now and there "new" rules and fines regarding parking? And did you come across these so called sound barriers at Briedschied corner?

Yeah I did put some pictures up (from another forum) about the new sound barriers on your other topic

I just wondered how Mr Prawn got on with them, the pictures look like they obscure your vision for anyone coming out of the adenau exit as your hurtling down and round towards it?

It does look as though your vision is obscured
Will have to wait until Al, George Tom etc get back from the 'ring, unless Mr Prawn would like to reply

Sound barriers are not a problem. They are only in a few spots. you can still get a great view of the track.
Parking was not a problem either. Just don't park on verges by the side of the road near the ring.
Matt, you have a pm regarding september.

Couldn't have asked for better weather. Very busy during the whole weekend, with quite a few closures which isn't uncommon. I thought the marshalls were excellent and very well organised.
Got a couple of laps left on my card due to busting a driveshaft (its not a good idea to change down into 4th mid-jump at Pflanzgarten )... Got back OK though..
