I much prefer the William Orbit original electo version of Adagio for Strings.

There again, the classical version is stunning as well, I will always remember seeing it being played on TV live from the Last Night at the Proms as a tribute to those who lost their lives in the World Trade Centre attack in 2001. It was also used in the very moving scene in the film Platoon when Willam Defoe's character gets killed.

Im with you on the Orbit version, its got a much happier tone to it over all i think. Tiesto`s version just depresses me.

I am not a chav, so this song doesn't appeal to me what-so-ever.

Haha my thoughts exactly...

this is the best cruzing song ever for summer, graduating, moving in with my boyfriend and getting a new job! (hopefully will have all three in the next few months!) It may be a bit gay, but it puts a smile on my face!

I am not a chav but that is a a classic song

I am more into the taste of death metal i.e sucide silence etc but that song is a classic haha

Still cant beat the self preservation society, although when driving the min, I dont need music to put a smile on my face.

I need music at the moment because im tired of exhaust noise and hearing ever stone hitting the bottom, making me cringe of every stone hitting and bad noise, i just need sometimes a worry free journey haah

It's all about powerful classical music when driving in my mini

Especially Mozart. There's a Mozart piece for every occasion.

Rondo alla turca - for when piddling around little country lanes and villages
Symphony no.40 1st movement - for when running away from the police
Marriage of Figaro - For when smashing it across the country side or the motorway

Deviating from mozart you have william tell overture and ride of the valkries for when driving your mini into a war time situation

Favourite song ever, and favourite film ever. Both best played at neighbour-upsetting volume

Einaudi is also good, if you're into that sort of thing.
