Just for info!!

Using Body filler in the seams is a VERY VERY VERY bad idea!!

No matter how much you weld them, the wing to front panel seam/wing to scuttle seam, will always move. If you fill the gaps with filler then it will crack as the body filler isn't flexible.

To fill the gaps use flexible seam sealer(not silcon sealent!!).

I would assume an acrylic seam sealer would suffice?

Not sure to be honest, I don't know if the paint would react to it?

I'd play safe and use the proper automotive stuff, its not that expensive.

Ignorant question from someone in the Colony across the Pond:

I keep seeing reference to using a linisher or a linishing wheel. I have never heard the word before (I guess we don't speak proper English over here). What is it- a sander, grinder or what? Thanks.

Linishing is using a sanding pad on an angle grinder, like a flap wheel.

you can generally paint over acrilyc sealants, but I'm not sure of its suitability for automotive paints. I'll get some proper auto stuff instead.
