Hi all,

Just got settle down after a interesting evening which involved writting my sidewalk off . Guy in a dis-astra was waiting to pull on his drive and did'nt see me coming the other direction, so he pulled straight infront of me and I smashed into almost head on (at 30). Car is a write off, no doubt about it.

Will get some pictures up tomorrow if you like but I guess noone will want to see them as its not good.

Oh well, more work for me to do.

damn! what is it with people? i nearly wacked into the side of a tractor this morning at about 60, he tried to pull out infront of me, luckily i had time and space, so managed to get the anchors on and swerve round him, whilst blasting the horns, so i have learnt today to cover the brake and clutch when passing side roads! oh and i also keep telling myself every other driver is dangerous, well apart from mini drivers...
hope you get it sorted if its not too far gone, i have a mini im about to cut up, (yep one i crashed), its got decent innerwings, bulkhead, skuttle, you can come and cut what you need if itll help you out...

damn - that must have been hell of a whump - make sure you get your insurance claim in and load it to the hilt - clearly his fault !!!

Remember, you can replace cars not people. Wonder how much more power would be needed if RSJ was welded all arrround a mini??

Im ok, haven't gone to docs but will be going tomorrow, just grazed my knee a bit and shook me up. Quick damage survey reveals.

Bulkhead pushed back
Crossmember creased.
Toe board pushed up (subframe pushed in)
O/S wing completely mangled, inc front panel
Front end looks like its been pushed over aswell.
Bonnets gone.
Screen cracked

It just echos the damage the blue'n had and we put that back together.

Me... peed off. The clot, talking to his girlfriend apparently, I couldn't get mad though because at the end of the day it doesn't help matters, 2 smahed up car and then 2 smashed up faces, double trouble.

i had a near miss today.. someone drove into the petrol station the wrong way as i was leaving the right way! too many people pay too little attention when driving! hope your ok anyway!
