Mk4 Golf - Seem to be expensive on insurance.... ?

They're not too bad, really. Got ours insured for £350 this year, for 2 of us.

But parts are quite pricey for them ... mind you - I think you'll probably get that with any modern car!

How new are you thinking?

I like the new Scirocco! :mrcool:

honda civic type rs are niccee, most people can see past the chaviness to realise its a great car!
my parents have a ford focus ST which ive driven alot and it is a really nice drive and has never broken down, or depending on your budget could consider a focus RS mmmmmmmm

Thats the RS500 isn't it? All been sold already!! But definitely go for a standard RS, which can hardly be called standard!!!

Mk5 Golf GTI. I get about 35mpg out of mine on a decent run. £600 insurance. Focus ST`s are very nice but depreciate quicker than VW`s.

I am, correct.

But I'm not paying £1300..... I know you can get cheaper than these comparison sites but you get the idea.

Right great suggestions chaps
